My Classes

All student levels are invited to participate in my classes.

Breath and the qualities of sthira (steady alertness) and sukha (lightness) are key focuses with modifications and extensions offered.  Healing chants, mudra and visualisation are embedded into practice.

You’ll be met at your starting point and we’ll share the journey.

Building Foundations
For beginners or those wanting to deepen their existing yoga practice.  You’ll learn key postures and principles, connection of breath with movement, breathing techniques and visualisation.  You’ll realise and experience the array of benefits yoga can bring.

Vinyasa
Experience thoughtfully constructed vinyasa sequences, a step-by-step gradual progression, starting where you are and looking toward a certain goal.  Movement and breath synchronise in a harmonious rhythm allowing prana (life force) to move freely throughout your system, inducing feelings of wellbeing.

Moving towards a Stronger Practice
Beginning from where we are, we ground ourselves in our foundation poses, gradually moving towards staying if we are steady and easeful. We take the time to explore and notice the way we feel the postures and the breath and how they relate to each other.  We’ll have the opportunity to reflect a little deeper at the end of practice.

Body Breath Mind
A holistic approach, using asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation.  Practices are bhavana (theme) based, developed to enrich your experience and create feelings of balance and a deeper connection with yourself.

Mums and Bubs
A peaceful environment for you to nurture the bond with your baby.  You’ll experience both therapeutic strengthening and relaxation for body and mind to recover after pregnancy and childbirth.  You’ll be guided to massage and perform yoga stretches with your baby.  Mums group bookings are welcome.

Pre – Post Natal and Pregnancy
A holistic preparation and support for pregnancy and birth, with a therapeutic focus to restore balance.  Gentle poses along with the conscious breath have a healing and nurturing effect.  Classes are kept small and are conducted in a supportive, friendly and relaxed setting.  Mums group bookings are welcome.

Children’s Yoga and Mindfulness
Children have fun learning about themselves and their communities on a holistic level. Yoga postures, breathing, visualisation, story telling, games, ancient chants and art are explored.  Many yogic tools will be learnt, to assist in enhancing – emotional awareness, inner calm, focus, and confidence skills.

Retreats
Experience yoga and meditative practice and create space within your body, breath and mind.  Reconnect with yourself and nature on a mindfulness walk.  Enjoy being nourished with herbal tea’s and wholesome treats.  You’ll feel energised, inspired and light having taken the time for you.
