I have always had a strong interest in health and wellbeing so was drawn to yoga, over twenty years ago, for its array of therapeutic benefits. Becoming a dedicated practitioner after the birth of my first son in 2008, I found the practice induced feelings of inner calm and offered relief for health issues following birth.
The ancient wisdom of yoga enthralled me, and I embarked on a two year Yoga Teacher Training program in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya, where the starting point of each individual is respected – “Teach what is within you, not as it applies to you, but as it applies to the one in front of you.”
Sharing my yoga teachings to guide students to improve their lives in a meaningful way, and consequently the lives of others, is my passion.
I teach weekly yoga classes on the Mornington Peninsula at Safety Beach Sailing Club. Being a nature lover, this venue is a good fit, with panoramic views over the bay.
